    Provide account services and oversee management of projects for multiple clients including scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. Develop marketing plans and tactics to increase revenue and attendance at annual conferences; write copy and messaging for direct and electronic mail campaigns; consult on Web site navigation and content; and oversee production of design collateral.

    Achievements:

    • Developed messaging, recommended innovative tactics, segmented the audience for customized messages, and consulted on overall marketing strategy for the National Apartment Association’s annual conference. Registration numbers for the 2010 conference exceeded goals.
    • Wrote a strategic marketing plan for the conventions run by the American Association for Justice. The plan included background history and analysis, goals, metrics, and a comprehensive list of tactics. Developed messaging for electronic and direct mail campaigns.
    • Created innovative promotions for the International Dairy Foods Association. Collected lists from trade partners and coded them for detailed measurement. Oversaw the design and content of the client’s Web site and the e-mail and direct mail campaigns, and assisted staff with exhibitor sales.
    • Consulted on the brand development, Web site, and marketing tools of a new entity, the Center for Environmental Innovation and Leadership (CEIL). Collaborated with CEIL’s President to create and implement a multi-channel plan for launching the organization’s Web site and conference.

      • Wrote new membership brochures and Web site pages resulting in a 4% increase in overall memberships and a 382% increase in online membership revenue.
    • Key member and team leader of several task forces responsible for the elements of a new business model—the member value initiative—including devising a new membership structure, developing new products and services, implementing a new database, and creating a new brand image. Membership increased from 16,000 to over 28,000 as a result of the initiative.
    • As manager of the organization’s Web site, I increased Web site visits by more than 600,000 (163%) per year and increased Web site revenue by more than $521,000 (363%) per year by improving customers’ experiences, revising critical pages, optimizing tags and content for superior search engine placement, improving architecture, and responding to needs based on site usage reports.
    • Took the initiative to redesign the Web site of the company’s affiliate organization—The National Board of Certification for Community Managers. As project manager, I developed the architecture and navigation and wrote the content. The number of visitors to the site increased 35% after the redesign.
